Time really does fly when you’re having a good time, sipping on a hot cup of Java and shooting the breeze with the industry’s top performers. It seems like we just started, but it has already been 20 episodes.
And what better way to celebrate this season than by revisiting our most popular episodes?
This season we decided to mix things up a bit, and deliver short and punchy 20(ish)-minute episodes. The result manifested in more episodes, a versatile guest list, and diverse topics of conversation, which made it harder to choose the absolute best episodes. After thoughtful consideration and hours of heated debates among our editorial team, here they are.
So grab your mug one last time this year, and let’s dive into the highlights!

Litan Yahav – It’s about the operator, not the asset
“Most LPs understand that not all deals will succeed as expected. But what’s important is the communication. So, if the GP is constantly communicating the situation, the LPs are satisfied with the level of communication that the GP provides, even if the deal fails.
Communication is super important across the board. And obviously, if they have a good platform for that, it helps.”
Not often do GPs get a chance to get up close and personal with LPs’ concerns and point of view.
In this Coffee Break episode, Litan Yahav, CEO and Co-Founder of Vyzer, a tech startup helping LPs centralize their investment management in one platform, gave us that invaluable vantage point into LPs’ current state of mind.

Rich Bouchner – History doesn’t repeat Itself, but It often rhymes
“If you like Apple and Apple dips, what do you do? You buy more. If you don’t believe in Apple, then you sell or hold. It’s the same for real estate. If it’s a property you believe in, sometimes if you put a couple of more dollars in you’re going to be happy in 3-5 years”.
Rich Bouchner has been connecting investors with opportunities for decades across all asset classes, and he’s learned a thing or two. In this episode, he joins us to bust the myth that “this time is different”, shares his personal experience with real estate cycles throughout his career, and emphasizes the importance of understanding the market cycle while staying true to your investment thesis.
Rich also shares priceless insights on tax abatements, and they can drive the profitability of a project.
