GO.FARM is an agricultural investment firm founded in 2013. It identifies underutilised and undercapitalised Australian agricultural assets and transforms them to their highest and best use.
The company has grown quickly over the past five years and now manages over $1.3 billion in assets, including 10 farms and a combined 96,000 hectares. GO.FARM’s team includes 27 people in its management and operations and 200 staff across the farms.
The challenge GO.FARM faced
GO.FARM previously managed investor relations using manual processes involving spreadsheets, Word documents, and PDFs. Tasks such as preparing and communicating capital calls could take several days. For ongoing investor reporting, the firm relied on complex Excel spreadsheets and manually emailed updates to investors — introducing both a high risk of errors and potential security concerns.
