Build on your Agora data. Connect it to anything.

Agora brings your investment operation together in one platform. But your team doesn’t only work in Agora. You’re also in Claude, Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Yardi, and whatever else your firm runs on day to day.

Agora API and MCP are the fourth announcement in our Season of Innovation, and the opening chapter of a bigger story: Agora Opens Up. It’s a story in two parts. First, your Agora data flows out, to the tools and AI your team already uses. Next, data flows in, automatically, from the systems your firm already runs. This announcement is the first door.

Two ways to use your data outside Agora

Agora API and MCP give your team two ways to put live Agora data to work, wherever that work already happens.

MCP connects the AI assistants your team already uses, like Claude, to your live Agora data. Instead of pulling a report and reading through it, you ask a question in plain English and get an answer grounded in your real numbers.

API gives your other systems, the ones that aren’t AI, the same kind of access. Your entity, position, and transaction data can flow directly into the tools your firm runs on, so a system like QuickBooks or Salesforce is always working from what’s actually in Agora.

Everything runs on your firm’s own permissions, inside your Agora environment, on connections your firm approves.

Your data, where your other systems already run

API access works the same way for the tools that aren’t conversational. If your finance team needs Agora’s entity and transaction data inside QuickBooks, the two systems connect directly and pull the latest information from Agora, instead of someone exporting and re-uploading it every time something changes.

That’s the same shift that shows up during financial close, when re-keying the same entity and transaction data into a second system by hand has usually been part of the job. With Agora API in place, that step goes away, because the data your finance system needs is already flowing from the source. Wherever your firm works, your Agora data can work there too.

“There’s a real gap between using AI and actually putting it to work, and most of real estate hasn’t crossed it yet. Opening up Agora’s data is a small, unglamorous step compared to that, but it’s the one nothing else stands on. You can’t put AI to work on numbers it can’t reach,” said Lior Dolinski, Co-Founder & CPO of Agora.

Secure by design

Opening up sensitive investment data is worth taking seriously, and Agora API and MCP are built with that in mind. Every connection respects your firm’s existing permissions, so people can only reach what they’re already allowed to see. Every connection is one your firm approves, and activity is logged along the way. Your data becomes available where you want it, and stays protected everywhere else.

Access is the foundation, Cortex is the next step

Agora API and MCP open the door to using your data outside Agora. That’s the foundation. Cortex, Agora’s AI work surface, is being built to act on it, turning a question into completed work, inside your system, behind your approval.

That’s the second half of what Agora Opens Up is building toward: this announcement opens the door out. Next, comes the door in, as data starts flowing automatically into Agora from the systems your firm already runs. Two doors. One open platform.

Agora’s open. See what that could mean for your team.
